Holistic Nutritionist and Yoga teacher
Bachelor of Science (Physiology/Psychology) – TheUniversity of Auckland
Diploma of Nutrition – Wellpark College of Natural Therapies

I have always been interested in health and wellbeing and began my journey studying Physiology and
Psychology at university. The connection between mind, body and spirit became clear to me after I discovered yoga and it’s many great healing benefits. Since this discovery I have continued to expand my knowledge surrounding eastern models of health, where prevention is the focus and the body is regarded as a self-healing mechanism. A
major part of healing and preventing disease is the food we eat, our environment and lifestyle.
This finding lead me to complete further education to become a holistic nutrition and yoga teacher.

I gain great pleasure from sharing my knowledge and experience to support others on their
individual health journeys. I am passionate about educating and empowering my clients to make
dietary and lifestyle choices that are beneficial to healing their ailments and supporting good
health. I am particularly interested in women’s health and the role of nutrition in supporting
mental health. I also offer assistance to people making a transition to a plant-based diet or those
already consuming plant-based diets by helping to incorporate various functional foods and food
preparation techniques, optimising the nutritional value of their meals.
My consultations involve obtaining a comprehensive health history that includes past health records, family history, lifestyle and current mental, emotional, spiritual and physical well being. A dietary analysis will be completed and various physical examinations are done at the initial consultation.
Where necessary, I will order lab tests or functional testing to be completed. The wellness plan designed specifically to meet your health concerns and needs is presented within a week from the initial appointment and a follow up is organised 3-4 weeks later to assess progress and whether the plan needs to be tweaked further.
